COUSIN ARTHUR BREWER'S HOUSE

According to Voices of Pageland, Emiline Brewer asked Isaiah, her son to portion a part of the Brewer land to build the Wesley Chapel Church. The church had a school funded by the Julius Rosenwald Foundation of Chicago. Years later, Cousin Arthur built his house on the foundation of that school. His house is pictured here. Cousin Dot, his widow still lives in the house.
